About Randy

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) In Phoenix

Success is based on hard work, and as I grew up in Kansas and helped my grandfather bail hay and fill silage, I learned all about working hard from a very young age. The discipline and dedication to work hard and getting things done had been instilled in me from the very beginning. I have continuously followed the lessons of hard work throughout my life and in my journey to becoming a successful Certified Public Accountant. I am Randy J. Elder, let me help you with all your accounting and bookkeeping needs.

Bringing your business accounting to a higher level with Eldercpa

Being a people person, I am comfortable working with different people from different industries. Adequately interacting with people, understanding them irrespective of their fields, and developing long lasting relationships are my strongest suits. In accounting, the universal language is numbers, and I aim to help you keep your business on the positive side. I had a conversation with the dad of a close friend of mine who was  a CPA, and that actually influenced me to become a CPA. With my passion for working with different types of people in different fields and my deep rooted love and knack for numbers, it was easy to see what my future profession should be.

Blazing through a host of introductory accounting courses in high school, my love, and passion for accounting increased exponentially. By my senior year, I became the accounting teacher’s aide. Upon graduation, I moved to the Grand Canyon state and earned a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy in 1985, at the Northern Arizona University. I became a licensed Phoenix Certified Public Accountant in 1988, and I continue to stay current taking additional classes every year.

Focus on small businesses

I have worked with local, national, and international businesses since obtaining my CPA license. Today, I focus my attention to helping small businesses in the Phoenix metro area to adequately, transparently and efficiently handle their accounting and income tax needs. As a small business owner myself, I fully understand the challenges most small business owners face. My extensive accounting and tax knowledge and friendly, easy-going demeanor keep my clients coming back, and even referring their friends and associates. I am absolutely proud of my repeat customers and high retention rate.

I am fully committed to giving you professional advice on your tax and financial planning, as well as payroll and accounting for your business.

By hiring a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) you will get a professional advisor for your tax and financial planning as well as payroll services and accounting of your business.

Rosie and the Sun Devils

My wife Pat and I are both avid Sun Devil fans and have season tickets to both football and basketball.
I also enjoy the beach whenever I can get there, fishing and golf.
