Tax due April 15
Social Security, Medicare and Withheld Income Tax: Deposit the March tax payments (if the monthly deposit rule applies).
Nonpayroll withholding: Deposit the March tax payments (if the monthly deposit rule applies).
Corporations estimated tax: The first installment of 2014 estimated tax is due.
Partnerships Filing Forms: File form 1065 (the calendar year 2013 return). Provide each partner with a copy of Schedule K-1 (Form 1065). Note: If you want an automatic five-month extension for filing Form 1065 and submitting Schedule K-1’s to partners, this is the date to File Form 7004. Your new due date for filing Form 1065 and submitting Schedule K-1’s to partners will be September 15.
Arizona personal income tax returns: File Form AZ140 and submit any tax owed with the form.
Tax due April 30
Social Security, Medicare and Withheld Income Tax: File Form 941 for the first quarter of 2014. Deposit or pay any tax deposits due under the accuracy of deposit rules. Note: If you deposited the full amount of tax due for the quarter on time, you have until May 12 to file the return.
Federal Unemployment Tax: Deposit tax owed through March if it is more than $500.
Arizona State Unemployment Tax: Deposit tax due (Note: Tax is paid on first $7,000 of wages for each employee. No payment is due if tax owed is less than $9.99.)
Arizona State Tax Withheld: Use Form A1-WP to transmit Arizona withholding payments to the Arizona Department of Revenue.
Arizona Quarterly Withholding Tax Return: File AZ Form A1-QRT before month end.
